Questions from Oshkosh Under the Wing.

In Oshkosh I was asked several questions I did not have answers for with me. I told everyone I would answer Questions on my Blog, so here we are.

Briggs and Stratton Vanguard 23, BSV23 prop sizes. The Warp drive was a 60″, The Culver wood prop was a 60 x 27.

Briggs and Stratton Vanguard 35, BSV35 prop size was the Warp Drive 66″

The Verner 3V uses a Warp Drive 66″

The Tail post tail wheel spring is from McMaster Carr and is a part # 9620K31, 2.5″ long, 1.031 od, .781 id. 56.34 max load, spring rate of 95 lbs per inch.

Thank you for the info. I had asked you about the prop on the B&S 23. Much appreciated that you remembered and published this quickly.

you also convinced me to use the 2 mikinis on my setup.

I’m using a 35hp duromax but the prop I’m running is a 62″ not a 66″ the guys at warp drive told me they would not go above 64″ so I figure I would use a 62″ and not run it at the max. After seeing you are using a 66″ I’m wondering if my 62″ will be good enough?

With the warp drive, ground adjustable prop, the 62″ should work, a bit more pitch should do it
