Weather

Flying weather can be challenging in new locations. When at Eureka California, at Northern Air FBO I was told about Windy.com. They have issues with fog and low clouds and it seems to be one of the best weather apps out there.  I have used Point Forcasts from NOAA but sometimes need more info and Windy seems to fill the bill. Also use the Weather on my Foreflight program but it works best on visibility at airports.

Les, check out usairnet.com . Seems to be a good, thorough weather source, including winds, ceiling, vis, more.
