Tail wheel
Tail wheel considerations. Must be wide enough to not sink in on soft surface, have a rubber tread to stick to hard surface runway, have bearings that allow for speeds we may have it on runway, balance of diameter and weight to meet our requirements. My opinion on the Legal Eagle XL about 4″ diameter works good.

Main gear
Got main gear legs located and welded in place this evening and part of rear braces fitted. Will finish and weld in place tomorrow. As I have built these LEXL have made some special fixtures to put things where I want them, first use I wonder but on next built they are priceless
