ORV

Flew ORV today for first time in a very long time. I have made internal engine modifications to eliminate the loss of compression and increased valve clearance to take care of an additional problem. It was a great flight, no bumps, and great temperatures. Flew .8 hours with wot indicating at least 100 rpm more than ever on past and wot at end of flight was same as wot at start of flight.

ORV and the Verner 3V

Made another run today, temps in upper 90’s, ran for .3 at 2100 rpm, i had changed calve clearances from .20mm to .35mm, after run it would at full throttle it went back to take off rpm. It did run a little rough at times but believe i need to richen mixture at power.

Aero Estates

Went flying this morning in SR 7-1/2, Snoopy’s Revenge

As we taxied out the grass was wet with the morning dew, temperature was about 76 and wind was calm. Take off on the grass is always sweet and soon the trees lining runway were passing by, then passing below. Not a bump was there to enjoy. approach to landing was high but a little slide slip placed me right where i wanted to be on touch down. Love flying with so much green
